COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

INNOGRAPHY COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Early in our history, Innography employees made a conscious decision to give back to the community. With that in mind we formed a voluntary Community Involvement comittee in which employees make decisions about where to direct charitiable resources. Our mission statement:

Community involvement and volunteerism are an integral component of the culture at Innography. We believe giving back to the community is a win-win scenario for both Innography and the organizations that we support. Our volunteer activities make a difference in the community while they also  boost morale, strengthen our team and improve communications and relations among our employees.

Innography also promotes individual volunteerism by allowing each full-time employee 2 hours of paid volunteer time off per month.  The following are just a few of the organizations Innography has chosen to assist so far in 2010.

SPRING SERVICE DAY
As a member of the Entrepreneurs Foundation (EF) Innography participated in an event hosted by EF called Spring Service Day. These events are held twice each year and Austin member companies are invited to assist deserving organizations. Most recently EF hosted Spring Service Day and Innography participated along with 19 other companies, comprising about 300 volunteers, who worked at the KIPP campus constructing a playscape, painting, sorting and packing books in the library, landscaping, building a tool shed, building and painting picnic tables, and more.

Innography employees participate in Meals on Wheels to deliver meals to the homebound. Meals on Wheels and More (MOWAM) is one of the largest meal-delivery organizations in Texas, distributing 4,000 meals and reaching 3,100 clients each business day, including homebound elderly and disabled individuals and 300 low-income students through our Meals for Kids program.

In 2009, MOWAM distributed over 1 million meals. Part of the Austin community since 1972, MOWAM believes in holistic case management and also offers the following services to clients through several programs: transportation to and from medical appointments; minor home repairs; phone friends to combat loneliness; pet food and pet health care; grocery shopping assistance; a monthly supply of shelf-stable groceries; extra, daily, shelf-stable meals for the nutritionally at-risk; problem solving therapies; and rural meal delivery.

Cup - 10th Anniversary

AUSTIN CUP 10TH ANNIVERSARY —
Benefitting the Center for Child Protection

Ealier this year, Innography employees raised $1,320.00 by participating in A Week of Food, a week of activities that included a ping pong competition, themed meals and a Classic Cocktails happy hour. Innography then matched that donation, the total of which was matched by Lombardi Software for a grand total of $5,280.00 — more than any other participating company.  The week ended with the Austin Cup 10th Anniversary, a charitable bowling competition among companies who were also part of the charity drive.  The Austin Cup was sponsored by Austin Ventures, and the Entrepreneurs Foundation. The donations benefitted The Center for Child Protection.

The Center for Child Protection, a nationally accredited children’s advocacy center, is the first stop for children in Travis County who are suspected victims of sexual abuse, serious physical abuse and for children who have witnessed a violent crime.  The Center is a child-friendly, specially-equipped facility where children go for recorded forensic interviews, medical exams, counseling and intervention during the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases.

It is the only nonprofit in Travis County involved in the investigation of crimes against children. All services are provided to children and their protective caregivers at no charge. In 2009, the Center served more than 1,400 children and 1,200 adults. For more information, please call 512-472-1164 or visit www.centerforchildprotection.org.

Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas

The Entrepreneurs Foundation of Central Texas (EF) promotes philanthropy and community involvement among emerging-growth companies and entrepreneurs. EF programs connect member companies with their communities, help build successful corporate cultures, and connect business and social entrepreneurs to make Central Texas an even better place to live, work, and play.

BEST IN CLASS AWARD
The Entrepreneurs Foundation presents an annual Community Excellence Award to a company that has demonstrated superior commitment to philanthropic and community involvement programs as part of their core business values. EF recognized Innography with this year’s award for Best in Class for Companies with Fewer than 50 employees. Innography was chosen for exemplary benefits to the community through volunteerism and donations, and for company benefits that include a volunteer time off policy, surveying employee interests, and forming a community involvement committee.

Austin Childrens Shelter

AUSTIN CHILDREN'S CENTER
The Austin Children's Shelter (ACS) is an emergency shelter offering a safe haven for children who are removed from their homes due to life-threatening abuse or neglect. The mission of ACS is to provide emergency shelter, high quality care and hope for the future to the abandoned, abused and neglected children of our community.

When Innography employees were asked where they wanted to direct charitable giving the overwhelming majority expressed a concern for children, and to that end Innography helps to support the Austin Children's Center. In the first quarter of 2010, Innography's customer base reached a total of 100, a milestone we were very proud to achieve. To commemorate that accomplishment, Innography donated $1,000 to this worthy organization.
